Hello Subculture Team and Family, It is with a very heavy heart that we find ourselves in this position where our locations have been closed and our Subculture family has been so severely affected by this situation.
In an effort to keep everyone informed we will be updating this site as often as possible. This site will become your resource for anything to do with the Subculture Group. We will update this site with all current operation hours, benefits, meetings and most importantly information as we get closer to re-opening all our stores. We know there are hundreds of questions you have regarding the upcoming few weeks. We will try to answer those as to our best ability but please be patient as information is changing so fast and we are making decisions based on the rapidly changing information. A decision we make this hour may change an hour later based on updated new information from local and federal agencies.
We know these are tremendous trying times which we have never experienced before. We have all experienced business interruptions with our Hurricanes but nothing to this extent. That being said though I think we may be better prepared to deal with an event like this because of our experiences in prepping, waiting out and re-opening after a Hurricane shut down.
We will all get through this. It may be a very rough period but i am 100% convinced we will come out the other side a stronger and closer team and family. Hang in there. We are here to answer any questions you have. We are here to help you in anyway we can. Even if you're just slightly nervous and a little panicky we are here. This is a time when you won't hear "stop your whining". We all may need to just vent and have someone to talk with during these next trying weeks. Feel free to reach out to anyone in the Subculture Group Family for support. Start text groups, write in our BLOG, invite others over for dinner, plan a beach day (unless they close those too!). Be safe, stay active and check on your fellow worker. Thank you everyone and we will see you soon back in the stores! rodney

Some of the programs we are currently working on are Food and grocery assistance- we will be offering meals and/or groceries for our staff who desire it at a central Subculture location Emergency funds loan program- we will be offering a no interest loan for those who have a dire situation. Please note these loans will be based on a case by case basis and will be caped at $1,000. We will not be able to offer this loans to every employee. We will have an application shortly online to fill out and each case will be reviewed on its necessity. Job Placement Program- we may have a limited amount of general piece work available for those with certain skills ie construction, cleaning, general labor etc. We will have an application online shortly for those that may be interested. Volunteer Program- for those that are able we will be starting a volunteer program and working with several charitable organizations. Our preliminary intent is to turn any Subculture location that serves food into a production and pick up point to feed the students, elderly and those in need in our community. We are meeting with our local charities and anyone interested in assisting in this program please contact us by clicking the link.
Keeping busy and volunteering is the best way to get us through this! We can turn this awful situation into a positive by pouring our energy into helping other people get through this. This could be The Subculture Groups Finest Hour!
